To encourage unity, peace, mutual tolerance and prosperity of the Funam land, ecumenical prayer sessions were instituted at the palace every lastFriday of the month.   The Palace Chaplain Rev Becky Nfornyam of the PCC in combined efforts with Pastors Shu Ambe (Full Gospel) and Nkemkul Pius (CBC) have organised these.   These monthly prayers are held in the main hall which encouraged people to seek for the truth, rejoice with those who celebrate and share the pain of those who mourn. The Chaplaincy did organises a total reading of the Bible in cover to cover and page by page, prior to intensification of the Crisis.  It is being revived an will ask another denomination to Chair the prayers for the coming year.   Out of the Funam Chaplaincy emerged a spiritual emphasis on the 10 commandments, the Funam Charter of Values as well as the Funam Prayer Passport to Wholesome Living.
